A MAN who said he wanted to rape and sexually assault a 14-year-old in the woods has been sentenced to eight months in prison
Tony Morriss, 21, also known as Tony Lamport, was caught outside Basingstoke Hospital last month by the paedeophile hunting group Safeguarding Kids Online after he messaged one of their decoys.
He was confronted when he thought he would be meeting a 14-year-old girl, after telling her that he would take her into the woods, rape her and sexually assault her.
In the confrontation that lasted over 30 minutes and was live streamed to Facebook, Morriss said that he has "messaged loads of girls, young girls and asked them to meet me but I've never actually met them".

He also claimed that the conversation was "a joke", adding: "I wouldn't have actually done anything."
Appearing at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday, the 21-year-old was sentenced to eight months in prison for each charge, to be served concurrently.
He will also be on the sex offenders register for 10 years.
A spokesperson for Safeguarding Kids Online told the Gazette that their only goal is to "protect children online from internet predators and existing sex offenders and paedophiles".
"We gather water-tight evidence to secure a conviction.
"Throughout the investigation we work day and night with police forces across the UK to provide them all the evidence and statements they require.
"We hope that the work we do as volunteers can ensure that children are safe from online sexual exploitation. Our decoys work tirelessly to ensure that this is done in the correct and appropriate manner to gain convictions."
The video of Morriss' confrontation has, at the time of writing, 81,000 views, 909 shares and almost 3,000 comments.
The spokesperson continued: "We will not stop until they stop preying on our children. It only takes 20 minutes for a child to be groomed online, so please take 10 minutes a day and check your children's devices."
John Smith 56
Jailed for raping a 15-year-old girl after the victim used Snapchat to alert a friend of her ordeal.
Jailed for raping a 15-year-old girl after the victim used Snapchat to alert a friend of her ordeal.
High Street, Overton, Basingstoke, RG25
John Smith groomed the girl from the age of 13 with gradually increasing abuse before forcing her to have full sex in December last year.
She was too frightened to tell anyone in authority what he was doing but confided in a schoolfriend on Snapchat shortly after the humiliating final assault.
The girl told her friend she was scared of going to the police but they agreed that the friend would contact them. It enabled forensic experts to find conclusive evidence of the rape.
Smith, aged 49, of High Street, Basingstoke, and previously from Exeter, pleased guilty to two counts of rape, two counts of assault by penetration and three counts of sexual assault.
He was jailed for nine years and eight months by Judge David Evans at Exeter Crown Court.
He was put on the sex offenders register for life and made subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 25 years.
The judge told him:"She was scared to say anything to anyone in authority and worried about telling anyone what you were doing.
"I have read her victim personal statement. It is clear the impact on her of your abuse has been serious and she is struggling. She is facing the prospect of months of therapeutic work.
"No sentence that I can pass can ever repair the harm that you have done. She was vulnerable because of her age and you have caused significant psychological damage. You seem to have little understanding of the effect on her.
"I would like to commend the girl for her courage and commend her friend who had the good sense to report the matter to the police immediately, enabling them to secure the scientific evidence which gave you no option but to plead guilty."
Jason Beal, prosecuting, said the abuse began when the girl was 13 with touching over clothes and grew more serious over the next two years.
It ended with an assault in December 2018 when he raped the girl vaginally and anally. Her ordeal only finished when he said 'I better stop or I will make you pregnant'.
The police were called by a friend after a Snapchat conversation with the victim, who then made a full statement detailing the earlier abuse.
Mr Brian Fitzherbert, defending, said Smith had admitted his guilt at an early stage and spared the victim the ordeal of giving evidence.
He has been a hard working man all his life and has no previous convictions. A probation report showed that he has expressed remorse and regret for what he did.

Sent sexually explicit messages to three accounts he thought belonged to children has been spared jail.
Elizabeth Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG22
Vijay Barretto, 49, was snared by a group of paedophile hunters when he tried to meet the person behind an adult account after messaging people he believed were children.
Basingstoke Magistrates' Court heard how Barretto thought he was messaging two 13-year-olds and one 12-year-old when he asked: "I want to be naked with you?" and "Will you have my children?".
Barretto, who lived in Elizabeth Road in Basingstoke when the offences were committed, has now moved. He gave his most recent address to the court as Queensbury Road but did not specify the town.
According to the prosecution, Barretto had sent messages between November 30 and December 26, 2017 using "the type of language the Crown says is wholly inappropriate".
"All three profiles made clear very early on that they were a child," prosecutor David Fossler said.
He appeared before Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Monday.
In mitigation, Ms Bonavia said that there had been no indication of any offences before or since, and there was no indication that he was attempting to meet any children or decoys, likening it to a "sexual fantasy".
He was confronted by paedophile hunters when attempting to meet the adult account.
She continued: "He appears to have become very isolated and was turning to gambling and using alcohol – he was in a bad place."
Barretto had been working and sending money back to his family in India, with Ms Bonavia saying that if he loses his employment, "his whole point of being has gone".
"He is doing the very best he can to recover the situation, certainly I do not think he has any inclination that he would be damaging people.
"He has demonstrated to the court that he is not someone who is an ongoing danger," she continued.
Barretto was spared jail and was given an 18-month community order, including 35 rehabilitation activity days and 200 hours of unpaid work.
Mrs Ashton, Chair of Magistrates, said: "We make the order because we believe the cases are so serious."
As well as the community order, Barretto was ordered to pay £85 in costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

A couple who sexually abused a young child have been jailed for a combined total of 24 years.
James Hedges, 36, and Lauren O'Hanlon, 28, assaulted the boy on a number of occasions at an address in Ash, Surrey, in November 2017.
Their offending came to light when police found images of the abuse on a phone belonging to Hedges.
Detective Constable Dan Lucas, investigating the case, said: "Hedges, who already had a Sexual Harm Prevention Order in place following previous convictions, was arrested on 6 March 2018 for possessing an iPhone. He is prohibited from having a phone with internet access as part of his order.
"On examination of his phone we found evidence of the appalling abuse that both Hedges and O'Hanlon had inflicted on this child.
"The phone also contained more than a thousand other indecent images of children.
"Hedges in particular is a prolific offender, having been convicted four times previously for making and distributing indecent images of children.
"Following the horrific discovery, Hedges was charged with five counts of sexual assault, as well as 10 counts relating to making and distributing indecent images. He was also charged with breaching his SHPO.
"O'Hanlon was charged with 5 counts of sexual assault as well as 6 counts relating to making and distributing indecent images."
Both offenders denied the offences, but were found guilty by a jury following a two week trial at Winchester Crown Court in June this year.
The sentencing hearing took place at the same court on Friday 16 August.
Hedges, of Cumberland Avenue in Basingstoke, was sentenced to 16 years.
O'Hanlon, of no fixed address, was sentenced to eight years.
DC Lucas added: "This was a truly shocking case, and we would encourage anyone who has any information about a child being abused to contact police."

Fountains Close, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24
A rapist who filmed himself attacking unconscious women has had his "unduly lenient" prison sentence extended.
Romeo Cummins, 44, of Basingstoke, Hampshire, was originally jailed for 13 and a half years - and would have been eligible for parole after serving half his sentence.
He admitted 16 counts of rape, sexual assault and five drugs offences.
The Court of Appeal increased his term to life with a minimum of nine years - with no automatic right of release.
Police said Cummins had more than 100 videos of him attacking unconscious victims on his phone.
'Pleased with the sentence'
He was arrested in possession of crack cocaine, heroin and sleeping tablets in Aldershot in February.
When officers examined his phone, they found videos which contained footage of the sexual offences. The attacks took place over the last three years.
Solicitor General Robert Buckland QC MP referred Cummins' sentence to the Court of Appeal, arguing that it was unduly lenient.
He said: "The original sentence failed to reflect the number of victims; the number of rapes and the period of time over which the offending occurred.
"These were particularly vulnerable women who now have to live with the lasting psychological consequences of his actions."
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesman said: "It was clear from the footage that the women might not have known they had been sexually assaulted."
Det Sgt Lisa Cronin said: "We are very pleased with the sentence delivered today.
"It is an accurate reflection of the nature of Cummins' offending and the impact it has had on his victims."

Glamis Close, Oakley, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG23
Serial offender Aaron Bremner raped a stranger in a sustained and terrifying attack – and now he has been jailed for 16 years.
Bremner subjected his victim to a horrifying ordeal in her own car after she kindly offered him a lift.
Southampton Crown Court heard Bremner threatened to stab his terrified victim, and said he would set the car on fire with her locked in the boot if she screamed.
Bremner, who has 31 previous convictions for 101 offences, was described by Judge Derwen Hope as "extremely dangerous".
Bremner had pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape, four counts of assault by penetration, one count of sexual assault and one count of common assault but was found guilty of all eight counts by a jury.
The 29-year-old swore, shouted and punched the walls as he was sentenced, before being removed from the dock by security staff.
The court heard how Bremner met his victim, who said she had never spoken to him before, by chance in March this year on the steps of a Basingstoke town centre gym after he had been out to dinner with friends.
Bremner, of Glamis Close, Oakley, asked her for a lift to the South Ham area of Basingstoke, and she agreed – but the court heard from David Richards, prosecuting, that once he was in her car, Bremner "quickly dropped the charming act".
When the woman told Bremner to get out of the car, he became aggressive and forced her to drive to a remote country lane in Wootton St Lawrence, where he subjected her to a sustained and terrifying assault, sexually assaulting her several times and raping her twice.
Bremner made violent threats towards his victim and her family if she screamed or raised the alarm.
When the shocked victim got home, she called the police, and Bremner handed himself in soon after as enquiries were being made by officers.
The assault lasted more than an hour, and Mr Richards said the impact on the victim had been devastating.
He said: "She finds it hard to do any normal things any more. She is always thinking about the incident and she finds it hard to sleep."
Richard Onslow, defending Bremner, said he had no previous convictions for sexual offences, adding: "He has never done anything like this before."
Sentencing Bremner to 16 years in custody, with an extended licence period of eight years for the two counts of rape, Judge Hope described the victim's ordeal as "horrendous", and said: "She was terrified."
Detective Constable Sol Koranteng of Basingstoke police, said: "Aaron Bremner is a dangerous man, and I welcome the sentence he has received for this horrendous crime.
"The victim was left extremely distressed by this violent attack and has then had to endure giving evidence at the trial.
"The sentence Mr Bremner has received reflects the seriousness of this crime and should send a message to people that anyone found guilty of committing a serious sexual offence should expect to face a lengthy prison sentence."
