A judge has jailed a Grimsby man for four offences of rape of a child.
Danny McNaughton, 38, of Wellington Street, Grimsby, was found guilty by a unanimous jury for the offences of four counts of rape of a child and six counts of sexual activity with a child. The jury at Grimsby Crown Court also found him guilty of three counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
Other offences included four counts of penetrative sexual activity with a child and causing a child to engage in sexual activity. The case was brought by the prosecution led by Richard Butters. Judge Gurdial Singh sentenced McNaughton to 14 years in prison. He was also put on the Sex Offender Register for life.
