Description
A paedophile who preyed on teenage boys has been jailed for a string of child sex offences.
Twenty-five-year-old Patrick Campbell sexually abused four boys between 2022 and 2024.
On 28 February, following a trial at Leicester Crown Court, Campbell was found guilty of eight counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of sexual assault of a child and one count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Today (Friday 11 April), at Loughborough Magistrates’ Court sitting as Leicester Crown Court, he was jailed for a total of 12 years.
Three of Campbell's four victims – one of who is now an adult – told police that he grabbed them inappropriately when they were alone together. The fourth victim said the pair had met on a dating app and that when they were together, Campbell had given him cocaine.
A search of Campbell’s home address as part of the investigation resulted in a large quantity of children’s boxer shorts and soiled nappies being found.
Campbell, of West Street, Enderby, was also placed on the sex offender register for life and is subject to a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
